Crossing Lono Avenue, the Residential/Mixed-Used district will include an extension of the
main street from the Town Center up to Queen
Kaahumanu Center.
Primarily residential in nature, the first phase of development has been completed with the opening of Kulanaa'o in 2008, a
housing community for nearby attendees of Maui Community College. The second proposed neighborhood will be a mixed-use project with retail space
on the ground floor in most of the buildings.
'Āina o Kane takes you back to a simpler time with all of the charm of living in a small town. It offers a unique blend of residential
living with retail and businesses on the ground floor. The condominium homes feature a selection of contemporary two- and three-bedroom
residences on three floors, within a plantation-style family of buildings. Amenities include BBQ/outdoor dining areas and tropical island
landscaping that seamlessly fuse with the picturesque streetscape. Whether it's a trendy boutique shop with the latest fashions and styles,
or a charming cafe that's the perfect place to meet with friends, your front door opens up to a world of possibilities.
