This district includes the expansion of the existing Maui Mall retail complex to connect the continuance of the main street. The new Whole Foods Store is a perfect example of the new retailers that will be part of Kahului Town, who believe in a great customer experience while also caring about the community and the environment. A pedestrian plaza will transition the mall to the new main street promenade. The Professional Plaza will also serve as a gathering place for community activities, art fairs and farmers markets.
