A&B Properties Inc., a subsidiary of Alexander and Baldwin, Inc., is a diversified real estate development and management company, and owns numerous residential, retail and industrial properties in Hawaii and on the mainland. Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. has played a key role in the development of Hawaii for more than a century. Founded in 1870 as a kama`aina company, A&B’s business activities can be traced to its initial venture, growing sugarcane.
